A lovely pair of box`s have been lurking in the workshop for too long now.
Not going to fill this intro thread with to much detail about the Pup build. Thank you all for the welcome and to the Admin`s who got my Site Supporter status done within 10 hours.
You know whats funny, I don't think I have ever met anyone that started, and finished a 1/3 Pup hahahahahah or a Bud Nosen Mr Mulligan...
It always seems like its the second or even third guy that gets the kit is the one who finishes and flies them. Mine was an abandoned Pup maybe 15 years old or more when I got it.. And my friend has an absolutely perfectly framed one 80 percent done that he picked up so cheap I don't even like to think about how much I paid for mine ! His we know was started a decade ago...
I was quite surprised at the typed out instruction book I received with mine, it would be a daunting plane to build for a new guy..using the instructions included way back then. One thing is for sure its a sweet flying/relaxing flier. You have to encounter a massive problem to get in trouble with one of these beauties. Dead stick could be considered massive if you are very far off your field.
Make sure you get a lot of aileron throw, I am not sure you could have to much on this plane ;)
