After a 35 year lay off discovering the fine items in life such as wine women & that other thing, oh yes song I've returned to model aircraft building & flying. I'm an engineer in the communications area of work, play the electric guitar & enjoy cycling.
My return has spurned me onto build (or should I say resume) a part built P51D that Alex48 started right here on this forum & I intend to finish her off in colours of an existing Mustang with whom I'm in contact not only with the owner but the WW2 pilot himself. (More on that later).
But for now looking forward to searching out the "new" techniques of building you guys now use but already found loads of stuff that I can put into practice!

Hello . Welcome to RCSB. I recommend you consider becoming a site supporter and then start a thread to continue your Mustang build. Ifyou should happen to run into any trouble there will be plenty of help to answer any questions you may have. Again, we welcome you.

Hi Jeff & Ron, glad to be on board! The Mustang is progressing well & I was talking to the WW2 pilot only last night! I'm hoping to get her flying & then ship it over to the States to fly it with the P51D that it is based on and to display it to the pilot. I'm keeping his identity secret at the moment until all the plans are in place!
Thanks again & I hope the resurrection of the thread started by Alex48 meets with your approval

Cary, if you are continuing Alex's thread (no problem) why not provide a link to it here?
