Hey everyone ! Just wanted to introduce myself. My mane is A.J. but I use the user name N3217J because that was the N number of my fathers and mine Cessna 150. I soloed in that plane and helped him rebuild it after we bought the plane from the CAP in northern NJ, so I now use that number in my modeling career (RC that is, don`t have what it takes for the other modeling career. LOL). I`v been into RC for a long time but am now going to attempt my first large scale build and though that this would be a great place to learn from. So from Brooklyn NY Cheers and peace, hope to be talking to you all soon and picking your brains for info...

Welcome to this sight, Ive been a member for a couple years , studying the different builds so I'm still a newbie. I haven't posted a build yet but planning to soon. The members of this sight are awesome , the craftsmanship is incredable , you will learn from every build you read. Take care

Hi AJ - welcome to RCSB. You still have the 150? That would make a great build. I believe Jerry Bates has plans for one. Be sure to check out the site supporter program http://www.rcscalebuilder.com/page_display.asp?pid=5 - it offers some great benefits, access to the entire site and for less than a magazine subscription - targeted information too - all scale all the time!

Hi AJ, Welcome to the best RC Scale site on the web. What a shame yoo didn't introduce yourself a week earlier. I am a commercial pilot and flew to New York, our hotel is in Brooklyn, it's the Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge. We could have gotten a cup of coffee and talk about planes... Maybe next time... Hi AJ, Welcome to RCSB. You will never find a better pool of information and modelers to help you when you get stuck. And the build threads give you the best set of instructions with pictures for just about any model you may be building. And you can interact with the builder if you have a question. Welcome, and warning.... Scale building is addicting.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes....@J Whitney, we sold the 150 after putting @ 750 hours it to a flight school in southern NJ and have`t flown since other then RC. A large RC build in honor of that plane would be a nice thing though. Glad you thought of that ! @Remklep, count me in for that coffee the next time your planning on flying into Brooklyn..

Welcome aboard A.J. It would be cool to see you moel your own Cessna 150. What ever the subject you choose we would like to see come together here on the site.
Again, welcome to the site and as Jeff suggested have a look at the site supporter program. Becoming a supporting member will maximize your enjoyment on the site.
