Hallo All,

My name is Vic Pretorius, I am from South Africa, I am new to this site bud enjoy all the build threats.

I am all so new to scrath building bud enjoying it, almost more then the flying.

Can anybody help me with adding a photo to the site, I can sent a reply bud battle with adding a photo.

I am about 95% with a 133" Mick Reeves 1 1/2 Sopwith Strutter, did about 23 flights, grounded to do the details.
Busy now with a Ziroli Morane Saulnier A1 that I have upsized to 35%, did body, tailplane and 1 wing.
Just got a set of Ziroli 93" Fokker DR1 plans, so can't wait to start.

Hi Vic,

My grandfather was from South Africa. There is a family story that my father had an uncle in the SAAF who was a Spitfire pilot, killed over Eritrea. So a country and warbird connection! I have been meaning to do some research on this, but haven't ever gotten to it. I have a Spitfire model I would might mark according to SAAF WWII markings.
