I prefer it to pushing pins or nails, but if that's what you're used to, it would take some time to adjust I'm sure.  I've been using magnets for 25 years now.  I only recently upgraded to a bigger set and larger metal bench top.

I think if I wasn't allergic to CA it would be a cool way to go... I would have to put steel all over everything I own downstairs as I tend to build everywhere ! Speaking of which I need to do a cleaning day...

Didn't mean to sidetrack things,, but I had to make the joke about the earths magnetic field messing up my building   ..It feels like the first day of winter and I need cheered up !

I don't use CA very often any more.  I prefer Titebond II and Super'Phatic.

Ca's have a place in building and I use it when it's appropriate or need a quick grab. Titebond 11 is a great glue, that's my general assembly glue, if it holds cabinets together it's gotta be good.

I also use 3 different epoxies time wise 5-15 and 30 min. epoxy, something for every thing. I'm a T-pin guy, would be hard to switch to magnets at this late date, I use sheetrock for table tops and really like it.

Just saying

This is my first build and  liked the idea of using magnets, i know that there will be times where i will use pins as well to make the job more easy.

I would like to have a look at the datasheets of Titebond II to see if i can find something similar in South Africa, very nice to get some suggestions from you guys.

I will start the build thread of the Cessna in the TopFlight forum next month, i need to finish the 3d printer next week to print some parts i will need for the Cessna.
