Hi all I live in Trinidad, the most southerly island in the Caribbean just miles east of Venezuela. My club is the Savannah Aero Concepts -SAC, and I fly large scale warbirds. We generally fly all year round but most of our flying is done during our dry season - January to June. My club is made up of jets, pattern, 3D, heli's and warbird pilots. I myself am a pilot by profession. I started flying RC models in 1990 then took a break and started back two years ago. I just love WWII warbirds with a preference for the American birds and own five models - Mustang, Corsair, Warhawk, Stearman and Texan; of the five the nicest to fly is the Mustang the easiest being the Stearman. I look forward to the forum discussions. Thanks.

Welcome Mike!

This is a great bunch of people, and for scale airplanes there is no better place to discuss.

Mike,

Welcome to the site.  Here you find a large number of like minded modelers ready and willing to discuss any aspect of scale RC.  Take a look at the benefits of becoming a site supporter and I hope to see a build thread of your soon.

Again, welcome!

David

Mike

Welcome to the Forum.   Just remember that the only bad question is the one not asked!  If it has been asked before and your search did not find the answer someone will answer it or direct you to the answer.

My current favorite is a CL Scale Jeannin Stahltaube.  See my Avatar.  I am 5 Ft. 8 In. and the Taube is 7 Ft. 4 In.

Welcome to RCSB Mike!

As the others who welcomed you have said you will find so much information and a great place to ask question when you get stuck (as we all do sometimes). Also, thank you for becoming a site supporter. I think you will find it well worth the investment.

Mike
